Syndicate Bank merged into Canara Bank on 2020-04-01. Every Syndicate Bank code and what replaced it.

How we know: the bank's renumbering rule — take the old branch number, add 10,000 and put it behind CNRB — gives this code, and the branch name recorded there matches the retired one. We never accept the rule on its own. How we decide a replacement.
Confirm this with your bank before you send money.

A transfer to a code that is no longer in the list is normally stopped or returned rather than paid out — it is the account number, not the IFSC, that decides who gets paid. What happens when an IFSC is wrong.
